Yes, I am seriously ill. The prognosis is not real good, but I'm not going down without a fight. One thing for sure is that things will get worse before they get better (if they do), so I will nto be doing any writing or publishing in the near future. However, VPP is actually online again (I didn't realize the domain registration had expired) so members can access the archives, but there won't be any new issues for the forseeable future.

Thanks for all the love all these years.

Skip,

We have never met, but your information helped me in my early days of VP play, and yours is one of the few websites/newsletters that I have ever paid for. It was worth every penny.

Thanks for all that you have done for the VP community and for me personally. I wish you strength in your health battles, and a long prosperous life.

Skip, you don't know me, but I've been to your site a few times. All I can say is that I wish you the best, and hope you don't suffer pain to any great extent.

Skip, sorry to hear about your illness' prognosis. I recently broke my back and was paralyzed. The prognosis was very poor for recovery--but I didn't give up and am now walking. Also, on 6/1/09 I had major surgery to remove a sizable tumor from my head. Fortunately, it was benign. I'm not particularly religious, but I do think that God helped me heal me.

I guess what I'm saying is DON'T GIVE UP!!! Stick with the treatment no matter how difficult it is. So many new cures are on the horizon that the chances are good for benefitting from them.
