Freeplay.

There is one aspect of that thread that I think served to diminish its
satisfaction for you (and others). The best basis for a discussion is
a central, well-defined question or issue that's explored to the
satisfaction of all who choose to engage.

If you review the thread, it would appear that to some extent you were
after a moving target ,

Here's a review of one thread which might be called ANATOMY OF A
MOVING TARGET or REDEFINING THE PROBLEM TO FIT THE DESIRED SOLUTION.

Okay, I have a good example of when you might pass on
the Royal. Suppose a casino has offered you a couple of
hundred in freeplay that you can use on an evening.
Suppose you want as much money as you can get out of that
freeplay. Let's be more specific, you take one of those
offers TI is making. What do you do? This is a very
definite problem with an optimum solution.

The problem presented for discussion is that "you want as
much money as you can get out of that freeplay".

On Sun Jul 20 at 3:34 am mubowor restated the problem:

You have freeplay, that is not money. You are broke,
maybe have only a few dollars. You want most
of the money you can get out of the freeplay.

Now we learn that the problem has changed somewhat and
now you are broke and "want most of the money you can get
out of the freeplay".

On Jul 21 at 5:53am, mubowor restated the problem again:

Let me stress the part that seems not be digested by the
replies I have read. Getting money out of that freeplay
is essential. You want that money, you don't want to risk
not getting money.

Now we learn that the repliers haven't digested that "Getting
money out of that freeplay is essential. You want that money,
you don't want to risk not getting money".

On Jul 21 at 5:53am, mubowor restated the problem again:

You are broke. You need money for the bus. You don't want
to walk three miles in 110 degree heat.

Finally we learn that the real problem was to make sure that enough
is earned from the $200 freeplay to cover bus fare, which does fit
the one coin optimum solution theory,

Mr. Langley,

You are unfair and incomplete.

On my first post on July 19 on this matter, which you quoted, I
stated, "Suppose you want as much money as you can get out of that

freeplay."

That is the part that I felt later was not understood. Run through
the freeplay and maximize the chances to get as much cash out of that
little session as you can. I felt the above phrase made that purpose
clear. The subsequent posts were made to emphasize this idea in
dramatic ways. They did not change the math problem originally
presented. That is why I say you are unfair.

I say you are incomplete because you did not include my latest
version of the problem which was that a lady wanted as much money as
she could get out of that freeplay to run to Paris and play her
favorite slots with the baker.

Thanks for the message. I found it amusing. Have a good afternoon.
