Free wi-fi in Vegas

Folks,

Is there any place in LV with <free> wirless internet access?

Coffee shops preferred ... 8-).

Thanks,
Don in Denver

According to jiwire.com, metrofreefi.com and local.google.com:

McCarran Intl. Airport
Henderson Executive Airport
Apple Store, Fashion Show Mall (on the Strip)
Krispy Kreme, 3 locations
The Stardust, lobby area (cool!)
Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf House, 2 locations
Buffalo Wild Wings, 5 locations (LV and Henderson)
It's A Grind Coffee House, 4 locations (LV and Henderson)
East Boy Japanese Restaurant, Maryland Pkwy.
Panera Bread, Henderson (other local Paneras do not have wi-fi yet)
All metro libraries, or so it appears

A number of McDonald's in the valley also offer wi-fi, but I don't
know if a food purchase is required or not.

Paid/subscriber locations include Starbucks (too many to list), FedEx
Kinko's (several), and Borders Bookstores.

Casino hotels with paid wi-fi include the Riviera (just advertised it
in the latest player's club mailer I got), Binion's, Cannery, and
Stardust. There's likely more along the Strip by now, but casinos
aren't really eager to put this in - the same reason they don't give
you a lot of cable TV channels in the rooms, because they'd rather
have you on the casino floor or in the restaurants.

Hope this helps.

I was there a few weeks ago and used free wifi at the LV city library
location on N. Las Vegas Blvd. It's a little bit north of downtown,
across from Cashman Field...pretty convenient if you're going to be in
the Fremont Street area. There's plenty of other branches around town
too, all supposedly with wifi, but that was the closest one I could
find to the touristy stuff. Check here:
