free tickets from Harrahs Vegas

Harrahs does provide 2 tickets a month to Diamond members to its own shows
such as Clint Holmes (he is leaving in Sept. so see him now!), Bareback, George
Wallace, Erocktica, and Bally's Jubilee.

However they also occasionally send special offers to shows they don't own,
such as the recent one we got for "Beatles Love." Whether you get these
offers is determined by level of play and where you live. I didn't get the
"Love" offer because I live in Las Vegas, and they don't send them to locals for
unknown reasons. However when I friend told me about it, I was able to book
through a host because my level of play was high enough (I'm 7*).

Some other offers that Las Vegas Harrah's has sent out in recent months to
non-locals included Madonna, Elton John, Phantom of the Opera, Donna Summer,
The Beach Boys, Ringo Starr and his All-Star Band, and so on. Some of these
were performances at MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, etc.

If you are Diamond or higher and are not getting such offers, you might try
asking a host. Sometimes these non-Harrah's-property offers go out only to
very limited people, some are less restrictive. They also used to have (and
may still have) occasional promos called "Best of Show" or something like
that, where they would offer you a choice of tickets to several different shows
such as Blue Man Group, Mystere, O, etc.

My out-of-state friends occasionally receive such offers from the Rio as
well. I don't know if Flamingo, Ballys/Paris, or Caesar's send such things.
Perhaps with the merger they will do more of these since Harrahs/Rio has done
them for a long time.
