Free play
When is it good for?

Dec 25-27 Judy got 100 and I got 75, plus a stupid discount shopping/dining car. Certainly not enough to motivate us to go up.
Went up to the casino, on Thurs for shopping. The lounge was crowded, tables were not being cleaned, and lacked food. This is becoming normal practice.
I heard that the Cabaret(best shows) is being closed for the winter.
Has anyone played at Seminole Hard Rock in Tampa?
I talked to an ex-host who said gaming is fine, but retail, restaurants, etc are doing really bad. I have been spending my points, I added to my shopping dollars, and will soon have a new set of golf clubs that I ordered.
Andy what are you playing for 100k coin in.
Have a great day, enjoy the snow, and ROYALS to all. Ciao Don

Yes, I was down there once - it was awful. The machines are
bingo-based, and didn't show any signs of playing with you. We were a
group of 4 experienced players and had the unanimous opinion about the
place.
Plus, as bad as MS is because of CT liquor laws, down there they offer
you drinks, and don't tell you that they have to be paid for until
they bring them. Terrible experience.

Haven't gotten the mail yet today, but I got $50 FP & a discount card
for 12/25-12/27 yesterday. Do they figure that's enough to motivate me
to give up Christmas with the grandkids???
I don't know how they allocate these offers; the last trip we made
(Sun-Wed last week) they gave us a suite. I'm a Sagamore, and usually
re-qualify within 4-6 trips, so I guess I'm a decent level player.
Though from the treatment I get from my host, you'd think I was
something to scape off your shoe.
They really don't come close to the comps you can get in A/C. It takes
me 2, maybe 3 trips there to get Diamond status for a whole year, I
haven't paid for a room or food in 20 years, and they give you
cashback & FP up the wazoo. My last trip down there I had $700 in
cash/FP, plus I earned an immediate cashback of $500 for a weekend's
play. And as far as player lounges go, the food at Caesar's is as good
as most of the restaurants at MS. Granted, they are only open from
maybe 12 noon to 10 or 11 during the week, and perhaps midnight on
weekends. Too bad its a 5 hour trip vs. 1:45 to MS
I'll be at the Hard Rock Hollywood next week. It is now Class III gaming and I believe Tampa is also. The only full pay in Hollywood is in the high limit room. Drinks are now comped in the high limit room.
The Hollywood facility is gorgeous with some FP VP and some pretty good shows. After playing there one day for about 2 hours, I'm getting offers for free rooms 7 days and $150 FP.

Thanks Guru,
I did receive an offer for Leno on the 30th but we're not getting there until that day. I'll play there on the 1st and try to score Billy Joel on the 2nd. We'll see. In any event 80 degrees sounds great right now.
