Free Play at Red Rock

At Red Rock I noticed I had some free play so I tried to enter my
password to use it. I tried 4-5 times without success, finally getting
a message to visit the rewards center to reset my password. But I
didn't do it that evening. The next day I went to the rewards center
and they told me my free play expired at midnight the previous day!

So .... if you get this message my advice is to go to the Rewards
Center ASAP.

I have noticed that a lot of the keypads at Red Rock do not work
right. I enter my PIN and it says invalid. A couple of times, a
slotperson suggested I was entering the wrong PIN. I suggested that
the keypad was a piece of junk, especially for the so-called Station
flagship property.

The keypads ARE a piece of junk. A Rewards Center associate, however,
told me the secret: use a pen or key or something with a small point
to touch the number pad. I've passed the word on to a few of my
frustrated neighbors at the Optimal Play banks and neither I nor the
neighbors have had any trouble since. Apparently the number pad
sensors are close enough together that people, especially men with fat
fingers (me!), end up getting bad responses from the machine.

Try it and see if it doesn't work better!

P.S. to those who helped me with the RoR question: Dunbar software is
in the mail and VPW will be on my computer after my next paycheck (or
RF, lol). Thanks for the help!

Thank you for the tip! I agree the keypads work very badly. It's not
because I have fat fingers because I don't. It's frustrating when you
finally get a seat, get settled in with money credited, the player card
accepted, the game and speed chosen ... and then discover you must go
to the rewards center to reset your password.
