Free Parking on Strip at. . . . . .

We’ve noticed at Harrah’s that if you just wait a minute, the gate will open. We are Diamond and locals, so to get in we either insert Diamond card or scan license. You don’t get a ticket. So leaving we just drive up to the gate and wait a few seconds and it opens. Can’t imagine that it somehow knows who we are…. So I assume they are hoping most people will actually pay for parking, but I don’t think you will be prevented from leaving I you don’t.

**<<**No the camera just reads your rear license plate when
you drive in. There is also a camera that reads your plate at the exit
gate. It takes the computer a few seconds to correlate your free parking
status from scanning your slot club card at
arrival.>>

Is this the way it works for all CZR properties in Vegas for people
who are eligible for free parking? And how does it work for people who
have to pay? Where do they pay?

I’m on the free parking list and I was told that my license plate would be scanned when I enter and when I exit. It has worked every time.

We were there March 19th-23rd. Came in from the back alley by Highroller. Pulled in and drove up past all the vallet parking to 3rd level and above. Parked, walked the strip for hours, came back and left. No KIOSKS, no gates, no attendants.

Things may have changed since then – although if you are Diamond
and/or eligible for free parking the procedure may be fairly
simple.

Definitely not diamonds…LOL. Just low rolling, frugal students of the Queen. we stay and play at The Oreleans.

May have just got lucky each night or they have changed since then. There was a guard walking by the both the first night and just waved at us. After that I’d didn’t see anyone.
