Can someone tell me how this works. After you earn your first
200 pts, do you need to earn another 200 for lunch or do you have
to start over and earn 400 more for lunch? <<<

My brief response addressed a specific question which I
interpreted to be, "After I earn 200 points for breakfast, do I
need to earn an additional 400 points or just 200 more for
lunch?" The point of my answer was that the points aren't
cumulative, i.e. the 200 points earned for a breakfast don't also
count toward a lunch or dinner.
It makes no difference how/when you earn the points or how/when you
get the meals. If you earn 1,200 points on one day, you can get two
dinner/brunch buffets (like, for you and a quest) on that day. 600
points would get you breakfast and lunch on the same day, and you
don't have to earn the 200 points first, get your breakfast, and
then earn the 400. You can earn the points all at once.
Your expanded response sounds correct and confirms what
I said.
