On your radio show the Southpoint ad claims (check the webcasts yourself) that it has "more than 10,000 machines paying over 99% payback". TEN THOUSAND!
Now those of us who have been in the place know that, even including idiot slots, there are not even close to 10,000 machines there. In fact there are 2563-http://www.southpointcasino.com/casino/index.php and again, that number includes idiot slots.
Frank Kneeland-Will you PLEASE correct the Southpoint false advertising?
Did the ad say "machines" or did it say "games"??

I don't do the casino commercials, Bob does. So I'm not really sure why you addressed this to me. Anyway here is Bob's reply.
FROM BOB:
The webcast talks of more than 10,000 GAMES over 99% payback. You seem to be confusing this with MACHINES. They are not the same. If one machine has 8/5 Bonus, 9/7 Double Bonus, 9/6 Jacks, and NSU Deuces for 25 cents, 50 cents, $1 and $2, this counts as 16 games over 99% --- although only one machine.
I write the ads myself and read them on the air. The text definitely says GAMES, although it's conceivable I misspoke and said MACHINES. On what particular date(s) do you think this error occurred?
The South Point (which is the correct spelling --- not Southpoint) has been claiming "more than 10,000 games returning more than 99%" for more than a year. Those of us who have been in the place know that. I don't think the distinction between GAMES and MACHINES is too subtle for most players --- although your post indicates that this isn't true for everyone. I apologize for confusing you.

This was on last weeks webcast and the word "machines" was used. The quote "more than 10,000 machines paying over 99%" is verbatim from the March 17 webcast.

The word "machines" was also used consistently in the South Point
commercial during the 3/10 webcast.

For future reference. We write the adds and commercials used on our show. So if there is an error, it's not some part of a dark casino conspiracy. It's just a mistake and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention.
I just wrote this to sum it up--
We all know Occam's razor. Less known is his toothbrush: There is no need to assume malicious intent, when mere stupidity is a plausible explanation. ~FK
Actually, that's known as Hanlon's Razor.

I appreciate the correction. Love the show. Hope it stays on for 20 years.
