Frank Kneeland interview

It is a very enjoyable podcast which I highly recommend.
The only critique I can make is that like most VP authors he dwells on plays that are pretty much extinct in (almost) 2011.
Start points of $3400 for quarters and $11,000 for dollars are great in theory but are such numbers realistic today-at least in LV?
No.
I definitely agree with Frank that casinos could make a whole lot more money if they put in high meter progressives. Say 8-5 JOB with a 2.5% meter. This would make a boatload more money by bringing action to machines that any knowledgeable player would otherwise shun.

I saw a quarter one get popped for 3411 at the Hilton when I was making my football bets two weeks ago. Obviously woulda plopped down had I known but guy was getting paid as I walked in. However I would concur they do seem rare.
