FPDW

In the listing for "Cross Index", there are a number of 25 cent FPDW
listed, but there does not seem to be much in the way of $1 FPDW.

Does anyone know where one dollar FPDW is available in town?

Rainbow Club in Henderson has had 10-coin quarter FPDW almost forever
(I'm sure someone will correct me if its gone). No slot
club-completely cash and carry, so to speak.

The last two $1 FPDW games in Clark Co. that I knew of were in
Mesquite at Eureka, Whiskey Pete's in Primm; both have been gone over
3 years now. A local LV bar had the game for a bit up to $5, but I'm
sure that's over too. I couldn't be bothered too much with either;
Eureka particularly had some over 100% multi-line stuff and .75% on
the card a couple days a month.

Essentially, we've reached the point some time ago that too many
people know how to play well enough where it's a loser for the casino
to offer the game at dollars. Consider that NSUD, whose ER is over 1%
less than FPDW, is slowly becoming extinct locally as well.

While that statement is true, A lot of it has to do with the way the modern slot club has changed the equation.
Today's casino feels its got to give back 1-2% of action in the form of:
free ( overpriced to begin with ) rooms
free ( overpriced to begin with ) food
costly promotions ( drawings, triple points days, double royal days , etc ).

The El Cortez was the last place to obtain a slot club. Back in those days, you said "the hell with slot clubs , I'm going there to make money" - and played $1 downtown deuces, FP deuces, FP Joker, 10/7/80 DB. The only bennies you'd get were slim ( if you hit a royal or ASKED to have your play tracked ) was a free Robertas and sleazy room.
I guess we'll never go back to those good ole days, but with the new "report-all-stats" chips in today's modern VP machines - the benefits of the future will not be tied entirely to action alone.
Skill level + Machine-class + Action +win/loss-record will determine it - Making it much harder for AP's to make a buck.
The above equation may be a good thing, cause I'd hate for all casino's to say "8/5 Jacks is the best we will offer - so welcome all AP's - try to beat us , and we still keep all our silly promotions and give aways. "
Just my 2 cents. Give me more full pay, and less slot club !

The beginnings of an anti-existential movement?

=====
Thank you all for your helpful replies.

The reason I asked in the first place is this: I only visit Las
Vegas once a year. Other than that, I don't gamble. So I would like
to maximise my (very short-term) possibilites.

FPDW is my favorite game, and I'm well-drilled on "precision play"
for that specific payout schedule. I'd play one dollar FPDW
machines, if they existed.

Many years ago (15? 20?), Binion's Horseshoe on Fremont St had three
one dollar FPDW machines, with the added flip that 4 deuces paid
$1190, a bump up from the usual $1000 (and just under the tax line).

I know that recent years have seen a plethora of variations on the DW
theme. If I were motivated, I suppose I could make the switch to a
different game.
