FPDW Question

This past week the Santa Fe removed some older quarter FPDW machines and
replaced them with multi-play, multi-denomination, DW games, including a
FPDW with quarter play.

I realize that the FPDW should be exactly the same on both of these
machines, however I have not had a winning session on the new machines but
used to win fairly consistently on the older ones.

Is it just a streak of bad luck or could there be some subtle differences in
the program of the new electronic super machines, i.e., limiting the number
of deuces that could appear in any given hand.

Of course this would be a severe violation of Nevada gaming law, (or would
it) and I doubt any casino would risk losing its license to do it.

Comments please.

Hang in there, My wife and I just went thru a long string of losing
sessions, but last night I hit a progressive royal, so hopefully we
are back on the upside for awhile. That is how it is with VP, if it
were easy everyone would do it.....

hope you hit a royal soon

Funny how that works. I had been doing poorly lately on older FPDW
and when Fiesta H put in the new Optimum play machines I hit deuces
twice yesterday and wife has had a RF and deuces twice in the last 10
hours she has gambled on them.

Assuming you're using good strategy, it's just a bad
streak. It would be catastrophic to a casino (and
particularly a casino chain, like Station) if they
were caught tampering with even a single machine.
Certainly, every business has dumb executives (and
Lord knows the casino industry has more then their
share) but they would have to truly be dumb as a rock
to take a chance on this.
