FPDW Question

The penalty for the 6H is not ignored. The EV for
your hand is 1.7478 holding the QT hearts. If the 6
heart was a spade, the EV would be 1.8181. Ditto for
the J diamond. Change it to a 7 diamond and the EV is
1.8187.

Thanks, but by ignoring I meant the software programs say to hold the
Q & T hearts even with the 6 of hearts and the Jack of diamonds in the
hand. VPSM says to hold the Q T only with 0 penalties. This
difference is what confusing me. What is the best hold with this
hand? I was guessing that the softward programs ignored the flush and
straight penalties and VPSM advance strategy program says those cards
are penalties, thus you should redraw.

Thanks,
Bob
