FPDW "natural" pay question

There is an old Sigma game called Deuces Deluxe which uses the "Illinois
Deuces" paytable but pays 50 for a natural 4K and 250 for a natural SF
(note: 2s3s4s5s6s would count). This game is rarely seen anymore and has a
return of 100.31%.

In the 100.76% FPDW game, the 4K pays 25 and the SF pays 45 on a 5-
coin bet. Are there different payouts if these hands are naturals,
i.e., no deuces involved?

Good old Deuces Deluxe, they were my favourite machines. Spent many hours at the Stardust playing those puppies. The good old days.

Hey! For us newbies, how long ago were "the good old days". LOL.

My wife and I played a lot of FPDW at the Barbary Coast. But, we
never saw the Deuces Deluxe at the Stardust (or did we just not find
them)?

It is amazing what Winpoker, VPSTRAT, and Frugal VP has done to VP
and the paytables that survive. Or, is it something else that is
evolving here, that would have happened anyway?

Hi BW,

If you have BDWinPoker, you will find the "Deuces DeLuxe" game in
the game menu. I changed the pay table on mine to "Downtown Deuces"
when Deuces Deluxe disappeared from the casinos 5-6 years ago. Most
casinos in LV used to have a few machines with this game. From what
I observed, it was not very popula, and I believe that is why it
became extinct. Most people preferred to play FPDW, and then, when
various kinds of Double Deuces came on the scene, Deuces Deluxe
vanished. I never played it myself, and therefore never missed it
went it disappeared.

I hope this answers your questions.

Babe

The last of the Deuces deluxe at the Stardust were removed about 2 years ago .
