Thanks so much to everyone for your help with this! I will be renting
a car while in Las Vegas, so now I can pretty much pick my spots AND
know where to go once I get inside!
I will be going armed with the Las Vegas Advisor Coupon book as well
as the American Casino Guide...one of the ACG coupons is good for 3x
points at the Palms, I figure I can't go too far wrong starting off
that way. (Another coupon from LVA has a "free gift" for racking up
500 points at Palace station. I guess one can never have enough oven
mitts.)
For the record, I can claim that I was the last person to play 25c
FPDW at Binion's...last year I went to Las Vegas and stayed at the
Golden Nugget with the intention of playing FPDW at Binion's across
the street. We checked in the GN in the afternoon and I went over to
Binion's to check things out...their last two FPDW machines were
tagged for removal at 11pm that night. At 10:45, they turned off the
machine next to me, and at 11:10 or so I got up from my machine
(rather than wait until being asked to leave). I can only assume that
the slot personnel promptly shut my machine down too.
The help I got from this group has been really terrific. Between
coupon runs and FPDW, I figure to have some good opportunities lined
