Noticed in the vpFREE database entry for Circus Circus/Slots-o-Fun
that the quarter FPDW machine has been removed as of January. Well,
it must've been replaced, because I played it in late March. It was
quite generous, and handy as I was staying across the street at the
Riviera. It's a seedy little place (SOF, not the Riv), but I had good
luck at the $1 craps table and at that lone DW machine--sure did like
those four ducks!
FPDW at Slots-o-Fun
By the way, in response to several off-list queries, here's the
location of the lone FPDW machone at Slots-o-Fun. If you come in from
the street by the $1 craps table, it's on the right side almost all
the way to the exit going toward Circus Circus. If you're coming in
from CC, go to your left; it's about ten feet away. It's at the left
end of a bank of machines. It's an old upright.
I played that machine several times over the past 2 weeks and did
pretty well on it considering no 4 deuces or royals. I never saw
anyone playing this machine. I don't think many people can find it. -
