FP Pick'em Poker at Mohawk Racetrack

Hi Folks,

Here's a little good news...I think?

Mohawk Racetrack (which for a long time had the absolute worst Video
Poker IMO) has installed 6 of the new Bally HD GameMakers in their
"High Limit" room.

Surprisingly, the Pick'em Poker is basically the Full-Pay version. The
only difference is the Straight Flush pays 1195 instead of the factory
default of 1199. Which makes the EV 99.9510% as opposed to 99.9531%.

And even though cash back for Video Poker has now been cut in half, it
is still a positive game at 100.1629% when you use your slot card.
They are "10-Coin" machines but you can play "5-Coins" at Full-Pay.

As well, you can select your denomination of $1, $2, or $5 and the
pay-tables do not change.

The new machines also have Bonus Poker Deluxe which is called: "Four
Play" and that returns a respectable 98.8270% (99.0389% with slot card).

So I guess the million dollar question now is: "How long will this last?"

...Only time will tell.

Hope this info helps. Good luck to all!

This is the first crack in the armor. We'll see if Woodbine follows this
lead.

that's great news! the Woodbine machines are absolutely dead now.
Nobody plays them. Maybe Mohawk will inspire them to change back?
