Seems general consesus is Mohegan best place to play around this

area. I'm fortunate enough to get to vegas, four times a year.
Going next week combining offers, will stay at Venitian and Hilton,
with most if not all play at Hilton, Palms, and Green Valley [ home
of my first royal]. When I come home although Mohegan is beautiful,
beauty fades quickly, when money goes quickly. Everyone in this area
should do themselves a favor, play a little less in this area, and
try to get out to Vegas more often.

Returned from Vegas a few weeks ago; stayed at Mandalay Bay (free

offer for Mohegan patrons) and Caesar's Palace. Mandalay had the
worst vp offerings I ever saw, not even 9/6 jacks, but Caesars vp
had improved from a year ago with many new full pay offerings
including multistrike, etc. and a generous comp point system. Also
played at Palms, etc.

I was at Mohegan last weekend and played in dollars vp in the old
poker room, this was open only for invitees to their slot tourney
and their guests so I assume the others who wrote of this played in
this tourney. The room closed Sunday evening and opened 10:15 Monday
morning to the public. I saw through the windows earlier in the
morning the machines being opened by service personel and saw
unreadable scripted displays. My question (probably paranoia) is do
the tribal gambling comissions of the Connecticut casinos have it in
their rules that cards must be truly random in vp or can cards be
weighted as in slots? I realize that there would be enforcement
issues in any case, but would like to know that such a rule exists.
Is it good enough that the machines are IGT and Bally which are
covered by the Nevada rules, but could not another manufacturer make
add on chips to weight the random generator results?

Mohegan, they looked at me like I was from outer space, and told me
to play higher denomination games that my odds were better. I told
them that they missed the point of my question, to which they said,
that was all they knew.
