Foxwoods Trip Report

Sunday, May 16.
The lone $1 Double Joker has been donwngraded to 8/5.
Enticed by the double points from 8-11 in the morning. Played the
$1,10/7/4 DB and did O.K. but that's just luck.
Left at 11 and went back home.
Then booked Las Vegas trip in June on AmericaWest for $198 roundtrip.
When we left at 11:00 Foxwoods really didn't look very crowded.
Big billboard signs in Providence; one Pro Rhode Island Casino
(probably funded by the tribe); one Anti Casino (definetly funded by
Newport Jai Lai as it said so).
Competition is wonderful.

I was also at Foxwoods on thurs. evening. I scouted the high limit
areas and all the 9/6 JOB machines ($25+) and the 100 NSU deuces
machine are DOA. On the $1.00 machines (played the Sigma BP)the coin
count is now 90 before doubling (was 80 at my last visit), and for
quarter machines it continues at 140. Also the table game I had been
playing ("Catch a Wave") in between the two double points sessions
seems to be a victim of the expansion of the poker area. Oh well,
leaving for Vegas Tuesday.
