Foxwoods rewards

Get there last night and was informed that Foxwoods changed their reward program. The program limits to how much points you can earn plus you have to spend it within a year. Member benefits cut out a lot. Foxwoods seems to drives out as much customer to other casino as possible. What do you think?

Has anything been put out on the web about the new benefits? Or did you pick up any info you can share? Thx much.

Ended up answering at least part of my own question. The following was posted today regarding the benefits for each level at Foxwoods. But one thing that is not stated is the number of points needed for each level, nor do they have any additional info on the extension of current levels out to Sept. 30.

The individual level info is connected to the links on the right side.

They sort of announced the news a few days ago.
http://middletownpress.com/articles/2012/02/16/entertainment/doc4f3c54b5e5e02493792237.txt
Google search for more info at FW website "are not found."

I chuckled on the bullet at:
http://www.foxwoods.com/rewardslearnmore.aspx
"...•Any fractional Foxwoods Rewards Points earned from playing slot machines will expire after 30 days without additional slot play..."

Suppose they will eventually be posting card requirements but right now you the max points that can be earned per card:-)
"...
Maximum Foxwoods Rewards Points balance.
Wild, Crown and King: 5,000
Ace: 10,000
Royal: 250,000..."

Haven't been there for awhile. Been saving bankroll for Vegas.

This was interesting on the million dollar baccarat swindle:
http://www.norwichbulletin.com/news/x855744177/Cheaters-get-federal-prison-time-for-Foxwoods-scam#axzz1mvYS1ZOQ

"...Young Su Gy, 60, was sentenced Monday to 18 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release. Co-conspirator, Wookyung Kim, 34, was sentenced to one year and one day in prison and three years of supervised release. Both were sentenced by Chief U.S. District Judge Alvin W. Thompson in U.S. District Court in Hartford where they were ordered to pay $870,505 in restitution..."

Looks like new Ace card is about equivalent to old gold card, and that the new levels are there to provide additional levels of gradation for lower-level players (below gold / Ace)

New Ace card is gold in color too!

Anyone know the requirements for each level (esp Ace and RF) ?

I received this info from a senior host,

Six months requirements:

Royal 10000 points
Ace 5000 points
King 2500 points
Crown 800 points

Crown--no lounge Acccess or free room
King---lounge access and free room -- Monday to Thursday only
Ace ---lounge access 7 days and free room Monday to Sunday

**All points earned before Feb 15, 2012 will expire on Jun 30,2012
In addition to Max. points earn on each level, all new points earn
  will expire in 12 months

Let say if you want to reach the Ace level(@$300/point for VP), you have to put through 1.5 million dollars in six months. I will use up my old points and Foxwoods will be history on my book.

So any points earned before 2/15/2012 will expire 6/30/2012 if not used up?

Thanks, Carol

Just back from a 2 night trip to FW, and found out some additional info. The new year for tier-level calculations began on October 1, 2011 and goes through September 30, 2012. All points accumulated from 10/1/11 will count toward the new levels. 800 for Crown, 2500 for King, etc.

Supposedly, there will be a notification sent at the end of March about any points that you have in your account that will be expiring on June 30, so that you can use them or lose them. If you hit your max # of points for your tier, no additional points will be added to your account, but they will add to the tier-level calculation. They weren't totally sure of the details of the Foxwoods Rewards Exchange program, but I'm pretty sure you'll still be able to cash out at 2-for-1 in FSP.

The Crown level is a big step down in terms of benefits from Gold level (free rooms "according to play", whatever that means - possibly how much you've lost), but at 800 points per year is only 1/2 the old Gold requirement. The King level seems to be similar to the old Gold level with free rooms Mon-Thu, but the annual requirement jumps up by 56.25%, from 1600 to 2500.

But some word slipped to me on the QT indicated that VP players are not going to be particularly well-treated going forward. The person who told me that didn't have any details they either knew definitively or could share, but I wouldn't be surprised to see stickers starting to appear on machines. I've already found that you can't use your FSP on DoubleDown Stud machines.
