Foxwoods near bankrupt - effect on Mohegan Sun

With the story being reported in the WSJ today about the pending bankruptcy of Foxwoods, it raises some interesting thoughts for Mohegan players.

If Foxwoods gets in worse & worse shape, would Mohegan offer its customers less in benefits because its main competition is weakened?

If Foxwoods manages to settle with its debtors by reducing the amount owed and emerges a stronger outfit, will Foxwoods increase it offers, and playable machines to lure Mohegan's players away. Might they offer automatic entry into upper Dream Card levels by showing a comparable Mohegan card?

Should be interesting to see how this all plays out.

Foxwoods has been offering interesting plays lately. They had a promotion in June which ended 7/02 whereby you got $205 of free play daily for 100 base points (about 2 for for for lower levels). Combined with double points on Tuesdays = worthwhile play, although had to play for higher than normal limits $25 hand JOB or $10 DDB.

"Bankruptcy" should always be in quotes when talking about FW or MS.
FW was PACKED early yesterday afternoon. The tables, the VP, the idiot slots, the restaurants.
Any "bankruptcy" will be due to their obscene debt load. As a day to day operation they make money hand over fist.

The $10 DDB, 9/5 or 9/6?

Thanks

I think the biggest problem this will present to MS is when they try to finish the new hotel and look for financing. No bank or capitalist will want to risk default since the casino assets are usless to them. Only the tribe can run the casino.

The 9/6 DDB I saw at Foxwoods was $1 with a 10 coin bet for full pay on the royal.

They also have 3 banks on 9/5 JOB progressives. Two of them were over 5K.
