Made a trip to Foxwoods Thursday for a 3x Points day for a few hours
before going to Mohegan.
Played $0.25 JWD: The last few trips one of the four JWD machines
was shorted, but beware now two of the five are shorted (with two
pair AND 3 of a kind paying only 1 unit). Only three FP JWD machines
left.
At Mohegan there are a lot of new VP machines with the new flat
LCD/Plasma screens. I noticed some of these new VP machines in both
the Sky and Earth High Limit rooms at the $5 and $10 level. No
Pick'Em on the new machines and none of the basic games such as JoB,
or DB had full pay schedules.
But some older $5.00 full pay Pick'em machines still in the sky high
limit area. Saw one guy in the Sky Casino High limit area playing
two $5.00 Pickems at the same time.
In the back of the old Poker Room (the room in which the $1.00
Pick'Em slant tops reside and still reside), a few of these new VP
machines were put in at the $0.25 level (up to 30 coin). It
appears the best EV on these new machines is 8/5 bonus poker at
99.2% starting at 5 coin.
