I take my mother and aunt to Foxwoods once a month. They
play quarter slots and generally lose. I play the Sigma
Double Bonus, win a little, lose a little. We usually get
the same mailers ($5 or $10 in free play). December is a
different story. They each got $50 in slot play, while I
got 10 wampum points. I definitely run more coin through
the machines than they do, so I have to think that they
base the mailers on either amount of money lost or what
game you play. Any thoughts?
Foxwoods Marketing
Good comment about Foxwoods,
Having not been there for a lonnnnng time, I don't have personal
experience. It sure sounds like FW made a change to the player's rating
system. There is an on-going thread on Caesar's concerning this matter
on the VPFREE motherboard.

I only played the quarter Sigma JWD during dbl points hours. I was
getting $10 in free play. In October, I played twice when they
offered 24hr dbl and then tpl points. +$700 after hitting a royal
the first day and -$170 the last day, and I still got the 2 $50 free
slot play for December.
Without having much data, since most of us do not play at Foxwoods, I
hypothesize that they rate those Sigmas very low; but I was still
able to get the bigger bonus because I had almost 15 hours of play on
each of those two days in October. Overall slot return is not quite
92%; Sigmas they might figure 97-98%.
