Foxwoods gamechanger?

They are advertising 95% quarter slots and 98% dollar slots. The asterisk says “applies to certain slots only”.
I will ass-u-me that these slots are clearly labeled for the player, in which case I think they have just thrown down the gauntlet to MS, TR, Yonkers, Aqueduct, etc.

Don’t know if you’re serious but they are absolutely not designated.

Well I just found this on their FB page:

I play at FW and have seen this sign Mike .However,if you look closely you will notice that the message in small letters says"…on select slots…"…

So IMHO this is just another advertisement not necessarily the " loose slots"

hmmm. Well I’ll be there tomorrow so I guess I will see for myself. If needed I will ask a host directly to clarify.

Ok-back from 2 nights at FW. They do have 98% dollar machines and 95% quarter and 50 cent machines.
Per a host, the machines that are posted are the high return machines. They are all older single line machines like Double/Triple Diamond, Red White and Blue, etc.
My guess is that these machines were set at these returns all along and someone decided recently to mark and promote them. I mean 95% isn’t THAT generous-all downtown LV quarter slots average 94.76% and Boulder Strip is over 96%.
Still, compared to the soul sucking 89% penny machines it gives a shot to those of us who are sick of burning our eyes out staring at the VP machines for hour after hour after hour. My wife and I eeked out a tiny profit on them which when you throw in the free room, booze, pool, jacuzzi and food adds up to an enjoyable couple of nights.
Better news is that with Mass. opening up by Memorial Day free and better stuff at FW will only grow easier to get.
