Foxwoods double jackpot machine

Hi all,

I was at Foxwoods Monday playing the Double Joker machines (lost
fifty dollars) and saw an interesting pay table on a double jackpot
machine. There are two types of this machine, one is double jackpot
bonus and one is double jackpot poker? One of them looked like it
might have a decent paytable (I am still very new to this). I didn't
have paper but this is the paytable (what I can remember). The
paytable up to full house was a regular 8/5 JOB table. Then 4OAK for
2-10 was shorted to 100. JQK was 200, JQK with a face card kicker
was 400, 4 aces were 600 and 4 aces with a JQK kicker was 800. I
could be wrong about the 4 aces without kicker, but I think that's
right. SF was 250, RF was 4000. It seems to me this might be an OK
game (for Foxwoods). Has anyone seen it? I'll be back in May
sometime and I'll bring paper and pen to write it down if noone has
seen it. I played it and it seemed to play pretty much like the 8/5
JOB as far as sucking down my money. I hit 4OAK (eights) and that
brought me back from losing over a hundred.

Thanks,
Jackie

Hi Jackie. The game is called Double Jackpot Poker and the payback
is 99.62%, the second best game for .25 players at Foxwoods (behind
the 9/5 Double Jokers). The 4 Aces w/o the kicker is 400 coins. It
is one of the built in choices in Winpoker if you have that program. -

Thanks, Russ. I thought it might be the one in the database but I
wasn't sure. I have also played the 50 cent 4 of a kind bonus game in
the great cedar casino and thought maybe the .25 games were the full
pay ones in the casino. I'd never checked those paytables. I don't
have winpoker, I have FVP, but I could set it up. I liked it more than
the double joker, probably because I was an overall winner on the
machine and lost on the double joker machine. I am still learning the
joker strategy, I think I make a few mistakes that cost me and don't
even realize it. I try to play about a thousand hands a week of double
joker, should do more but I'm also learning games for Vegas coming up
in a few months.
