The only proposal left standing in Eastern MA is Wynn’s in Everett. (Taunton down near the cape is “reserved” for a Wampanoag tribe and on a different track).
Something may come up shady with Steve Wynn’s past as happened to Caesars ala the newly created MA gaming commision. OTOH, the gaming commission now badly needs Wynn at the table.
Job security much better with 3 resort-style casinos (Everett, Springfield, Taunton) than just 2 methinks.
