Four Winds (New Buffalo, MI) JOB update

Not sure if this is the right place to report this but here it is:

Hadn't been to the Fours Winds for 3-4 weeks (due to Las Vegas trip
Oct 22-27) but went there on Wednesday 11-5-2008 and, to my shock, I
found that all the $1 9/6 JOB is now gone. There were approx 8 (or
so) $1 9/6 JOB scattered around but they are now all 9/5. Best JOB I
could find were:

8/5 JOB at the quarter level
9/5 JOB at the $1 level (and up)

I couldn't find any 9/6 JOB anywhere at any level .... but, I just
realized, I didn't check the high limit slots area as I seldom go
there.

Note that, like many places, you must be careful at the Four Winds as
not all the VP is setup the same .... I found some quarter and even
some $1 JOB setup at 7/5 which really sucks.

Even though I also play BJ and, occasionally, some slots; as a result
of this latest trip, I won't be going to the Four Winds very often in
the future. I had been going once/twice a week this year but not any
more.

Did the eliminate the $1 NSUD too?

It was good to hear from someone that goes to 4 Winds - we should all

keep in touch with each other - I was just there yesterday and it was
packed due to their giveaway - MP3 player - by 12:30 they were giving
out rainchecks good for Dec 10th as they ran out - no surprise! You
are right about their vp machines - they are pretty bad but still get
played. I'm from Elkhart so takes an hour to get there - usually hit
Blue Chip while I'm over there too - it's usually deader than a door
nail. B.

REPLY: If you live in Indiana or Illinois, this probably won't help.
But if you're in Michigan, you will be pleased to know that the Soaring
Eagle Resort in Mt. Pleasant, MI has added FP 9-6 JOB in nickels up to
$5 to more than 300 machines, including lots of the new Bally HD
machines.

The same-day casback is miserly, but comps -- including their excellent
hotel -- are easy. Decent play also will earn mail offers good for
$20/week Freeplay. Finally, I've HEARD (but haven't personally
confirmed) that playing "play money" games online at their website
results in Freeplay coupons that you can print at home and redeem at
the casino.
