Here is my interpretation of the online description of this promo:

It looks like on certain days the casino will post one of the 20 cards
that can be used to make a RF. Lets assume they pick the Ace of spades.
If you are dealt the TJQK of spades and catch the Ace... then you
collect the bonus.

Well that would be the worst case scenario and practically worthless for a
promo.

I am hoping that you can start with any dealt hand and then end up with four
to a royal after completion, and the posted card fills in for some cash. It
appears $25 for a quarter game and running up to $500 for a $5 game.

I am really hoping that the suit will not matter too.

But my original question to actually put a ballpark value on the promo is how
often do we end up with four to a royal in general. My guess would be in the
frequency of any quad playing Jacks or Better, maybe every 400-500 hands.
This is a pure guess based on historical royal scares versus quads.

Unlike adding some value to a paying hand like a "Card of the Day" or "Added
Cash for a Royal" where changing values on a software program (Winpoker) is
easy to do, a "Four to a Royal" kind of promo needs some obscure stats.

I don't think you will get many responses to the question of how
often one will make (non-paying) 4 to the royal. There are probablly
a few pros around who know the answer but are not willing to talk.
I passed on it at Tuscany several years ago because dollar denom and
higher had been disqualified by the time I found it and I figured
that 50 cent and 25 cent would probably be getting the axe within a
day or two. The promotion payed a 100 coin bonus for the hand.

I can do the math but it is a long equation. One must figure out the
frequencies of 4 card royals, 3 card royals, 2 card royals, 1 card
royals on the flop and then calculate the frequency of converting
them into non-paying 4 card royals to come up with the right number.
I just don't have the time or the incentive to sit around for a few
hours working on this problem.

The only way I figure I would have the time and incentive is if I
stumbled onto one of these kinds of promotions. Then I would get
motivated for sure.

Mickey... I stumbled upon one of these recently...it was at a bartop
at one of the downtown Vegas properties...

A lucky stiff drew 4 to a Royal and then called out for the 10 of
Hearts to complete the Flush...everyone closeby gathered to see the
draw, and upon the Royal, he yelled YES!! and the way the promo
worked they all got a COORS LIGHT SILVER BULLET!!!! Of course they
had to drink them quick because the Blue Mountains turn white when
the label heats up, and this beer is best very cold....

But no worries, the lucky stiff almost repeated 4 to a Royal again 45
minutes later, but this time he actually drew 2 cards on the same
machine...he still bought a round for the group, so he paid off the
promo again regardless...

Mickey... I chase promos constantly...I have even been known to drink
a Silver Bullet or two(It is my favorite Beer)...and even being the
cheap bastard I am..I once bought two rounds the same night..

Sometimes I wish I was the lucky stiff!!

Lets get some Royals!!
