This is not a new trick for Mr. Fox. Many years ago, perhaps
between 1995-8, I played heavily at Silver Legacy. As a "high
roller", I was invited to many events and tournaments. Some of
these tournaments had a significant skill element and provided
me a very good income stream. Eventually Fox decided not to
invite me. I didn't have a problem with that because I wasn't
contributing to the casino's bottom line. It was a valid
business decision on his part. Unfortunately, Fox seemed to
take it very personally and displayed a strong dislike for me.
At least, I was never 86'd from the property, just no longer
invited to any events or able to participate in tournaments or
promotions.
A few months later I went to lunch at the Legacy with a lady
I had met there when I was a frequent customer. She was a
typical casino customer. In other words she wasn't selective
or skillfull in the games she played. She was at the Legacy
to participate in a slot tournament. Fox saw us together and
later the same day, he cancelled her tournament entry because
she was associated with me. Fox told her that the tournament
invitation had been a "mistake". She was also put on the
"un-invited" list.
I think Fox is a very ignorant, vindictive person and I
recommend caution when dealing with him or Silver Legacy.

FWIW,
I personally HATE legacy...
The Director of Marketing (David Fox) contacted me recently,
because I didn't play on a recent trip (went to see Randy Travis),
he cancelled my NYE hotel stay...
Unfortunately the joke was on HIM, as I did not need or want
to stay in their crackerbox sized rooms, I just wanted the $100
dining credit, HAHAHA.
It was just really petty to renig on an offer that I was already
promised (even though it DOES say "reserve all rights"; I've
never actually had it HAPPEN)
