Four deuces on a progressive

Last week my husband and I were playing quarter machines that had a progressive on the RF and on four Deuces. He was dealt four 2's within 20 minutes and collected $1558. I don't know how the progressive got that high b/c it usually creeps along at a snails pace and not many people play it b/c that it is the only game on that particular progressive meter. All the other games on the machine are linked into a different meter.

So my question is: what is the highest payout for four 2's that you've ever seen (or hit) on a quarter machine?

I assume the reset was to $250? Nice find. When casinos take down a progressive bank, they have to move the progressives to another machine to comply with state law, so this kind of thing is actually somewhat common and shows the value of scouting. In addition, casinos sometimes "sweeten the pot" as a promotion to get more people to gamble.
