Forwarding Posts

I completely agree with everything said here.

If something you post comes back and bites you in the rear, it is your
fault, not the fault of someone who might have passed on your post's contents to a
nonmember.

How can anyone reasonably expect any kind of privacy on a free-to-join forum
with over 6000 members?

I always assume that if I post a comment about a particular person, then
that person will eventually read what I wrote. And if I say something about a
particular casino, I assume that someone in Management at that casino will
eventually read what I said. These things may not always be true, but keeping
them in mind when I post is my way of avoiding unnecessary problems.

I still believe that anything posted to this public forum is just that:
public. Comments posted to this Yahoo! Group may be *intended* only for the
members of this Group. But, in reality, they are *available* to anyone.

I have no problem with any posts (mine, included), or portions of
posts, being quoted, copied, or otherwise forwarded - with, or without, the
author's permission.

Why would anyone post a message on a public discussion group (such as
vpFREE), if they didn't want the rest of the world to read that message (or
anything contained in the message)?
