fortune valley casino ,,blackhawk colorado

just returned from a worthless trip to blackhawk colorado..two days driving only to find that 95% of the games that are posted on this site are not there..if you are going to have info posted on video poker for members it should be correct.expensive trip for nothing..oh by the way i asked what was going on and turns out they were bought out in january and the new owners hate video poker players..

I planed a trip last summer to Black Hawk and asked the locals for info and got VERY little help. I do not think the locals are into keeping up the info. I am sorry to hear about the downgrades, I plan on going back this year for a fishing trip. Thanks Mike

Be Aware-Colorado Video poker law prohibits any game which
pays back over 100%. I live in Boulder and do not bother to
drive 45 minutes for sub-full pay games. A couple of casinos
have 9-6JB with points, but still are not over 100%. I save my
$$$ for Vegas where I do have an advantage. VP is fun,
but I am not addicted to playing(even when the location is near by)

Best bet is to get a comp room, food and enjoy the Colorado Rocky Mountain High(and maybe hit a royal)

I concur. FV wasn't bad by Colorado standards until just lately. But with a scattering of 9/6 JB, NSUD, 10/6/40 DDB and Super Aces Bonus with points and very limited bounceback you can still go over 100% in Colorado but nothing worth chasing anymore, not like 5-15 years ago when you had outrageous cashback and multipliers and drawings and strong bounceback coupons. All pretty much gone now or greatly reduced. Nothing playable in Cripple Creek at all, but it is still rustic and in a very pretty setting.

You should ask for your money back. Hell, demand double your money back.

I assume you did a detailed inventory so vpFREE2 can be brought up to date.

While I sympathize, I don't think I would put myself in a position to
spend two days driving where my sole reason for going was to play specific
games based on information like this, especially for a casino that
isn't in a major market and may not get frequent updates.

Or at least if I did take such a trip, I'd have a flexible plan or
some sort of alternate in case it turned out conditions/circumstances
had changed. Just seems prudent.

if you are going to have info posted on video poker for members it
should be correct.

I certainly agree with this as an ideal, but, well, see above.

Well, there you go. I notice the last entry on the 'Comments' page for
that casino is from 6 months ago.
