Yes, MGM still has that room next to the buffet with lots of video poker. Be
careful, though - not all the machines pay the same. Plus, some of them are
quarter 5-coin and others are quarter 20-coin. The 20-coin models don't pay
extra for a full-coin Royal unless you've loaded all 20 credits ($5). Watch
the dollar VP, too - there are diffferent pay schedules scattered about, some
much better than others.
Can't help much on Greektown, haven't been in the joint since they barred
those players. At that time, however, the VP room you mention was being changed
over to nickel video slots. Slowly but surely, all VP in that room was
vanishing.

I used to live in Oakland county, and went to all three casinos in
Detroit at some point. Right about the time I moved, there had just
been a situation at Greektown that ended with some VP players being
banned. I even recall talking to one of those that was banned while
eating dinner at the Signature Club in the Motor City casino.Does anyone know whatever became of all that? And while we are on
the subject of Greektown, do they still have that little room next
to the poker romm that was all VP? I remember playing Chase The
Royal for the first time there, as well as the Double Pay machines. And how about MGM, they had a real nice VP room on the 2nd floor
with lots of new machines? Still there?
