Food in Laughlin

After many good experiences at Salt Grass, we had a bad one Dec 2009. Cold prime rib, extra rare, ordered medium. Cold, rubbery lobster. Poor service. Shrimp stuffed jalapenos were good though.

The restaurant upstairs, Garbos? was very good for breakfast.

Saltgrass is good, Joe's Crab shack is really good both in the Golden Nugget. The guy who owns the Golden Nugget actually cares about it and is keeping it up. The contrast to a number of other properties in Laughlin is starting to show. Lets face it the people who own the Edgewater, C-Belle, River Palms, and Tropicana don't give a rats patootie about their properties and are have been seriously neglecting their upkeep for years they are falling into ruins. Oh speaking of food Joe's Crab Shack does this 9.99 lunch buffet that is really excellent, just delicious food. Though they do something that is a bit sneaky that 9.99 doesn't include the soda like it does at most buffets, so it ends up being around $13 if you get a soda. If you want some fast food head over to In-N-Out Burger by the Tropicana. I love the one in Laughling because the wait times aren't long. I rarely bother with the Las Vegas In-N-Out's because you can die of old age waiting to get your food.
