spinpoker RF, we (wife & I) finally hit (yesterday)
the 5-play progressive nickel at the Fiesta. It has
ballooned to more than $18,400. This has dwarfed our
previous progressive JP's over the years. Wistful
thinking: doesn't everybody wish someday it's the
megabuck <G>?!

I remember posting that royal info to the group when it was over 10
grand. Do I understand you correctly that you hit it (dealt) at $18,400?
That's 10 x my dealt 9 line!! Way to go!

We were playing two adjacent machines, when the RF was
dealt to Mely (my wife). All five hands were all spade
royal flush. Reset value reverted to $1000 indicating
that the progressive bonus for a dealt RF amounted to
$18,400 - $1,000 = $17,400 over several weeks. Quite a
sizable amount of accretion. I believe that if one
gets only one RF the win is only $200.
BTW, speaking of that same Spinpoker, which dealt you
a base RF -- a few weeks ago, I made four of nine
RF's (from 4 to a RF) and got only $200 X 4 = $800. A
dealt RF set of hands would then be $200 x 9 - $1,800.
If the Spinpoker machines were designed with
progressive payout, the JP would have grown
substantially as well.
The progressive triple play 5c by the entrance near
Garduno's gets a lot of play too. The JP at one time
grew up to $8,000+ when someone got dealt the RF.
Right now, I believe the JP is around $2,500.

Terrific story! Amazing! What base games are on those machines? I never
really looked at them.

Sadly -- true. Extreme luck is the key. The Fiesta
SpinPoker at least has the 10/7 DB.
