If you sit at home in Canada awaiting a room offer from MSS, you will
probably sit a long, long time. They appear to have an aversion to
sending mail to Canada.We have stayed and played there enough to become "established", but
have never received a mailed room or any other kind of offer from them.We can, however, telephone a host there with a room request and have a
reasonable amount of confidence that a comped room will be forthcoming,
accompanied by a low-end meal package.
We asked a host about this very thing and like you say, they don't
mail to Canada much if at all.
She suggested that what we should do is contact the marketing
department and let them know we don't get any mailings and they would
be able to offer us whatever packages are currently being offered,
that we qualify for.
I presume a host would also be a way to go as you have described.
She also said that they may do some email marketing and to be sure our
email address was correct.
We shall see!
