Flush Attack

I am going to Laughlin for a couple of days next
month. Could someone explain the Flush Attack games,
please?

The Flush Attack games are history at the Riverside
replaced with matching
Game Kings with unplayable games.
There still are some at River Palms (upstairs by
railing) and four at Ramada
(east doors).

Well since no one else has answered, I will milk my memory and tell you what I recall about the game.
As I recall the base game is a short pay version of double bonus. The fun begins when your machine goes
into "flush attack mode" , this may occur on a whole bank of machines all at the same time (linked machines)
or on your individual machine (non linked) . When in flush attack mode if you hit a flush you get paid about 3
times the regular amount (on linked machines it is only the first flush hit that gets the bonus).
Once a flush is hit the machine goes back to normal mode.
Back in the old days vultures would sit at the machines not playing , waiting for the mode to get turned on,
then they would play like crazy till it was hit, then go back to waiting.
The last time I was in Laughlin, I saw these machines at the Ramada I think, and a couple of times over
the 2 days I was there, I would walk by and see the machines in flush attack mode with no one playing.
A nice gift that should never be turned down.

Regards
A.P.

I forgot to mention, the "flush attack mode" gets turned on only after an unknown number of hands or regular flushes get hit.
The vultures that I mentioned waited for unsuspecting tourists to play and activate the "flush attack mode" .

originally you could hold a dealt flush and wait for attack mode, a
writer outed that play
in attack mode the return is around 130%
paytable is double bonus and 8-25-4 instead of 10-7-5
maybe one day igt will do a version, just like they have a version of
pick'em

The manufacturer was IGT.

Basically, once a flush was hit a certain amount of times, the Flush Attack was activated. 125 coins was paid to the person that hit the next flush. If you were "whoring" the game, you held a pat flush and waited until the bonus was activated and then hit your draw button. Easy money.
