I've searched several message bases tonight and find that current
usage of "flat-top" (flattop and flat top are also used) refers to
non-progressive VP machines and also to a slant-top or bartop
VP machine.
I've just added "flat-top" to the vpFREE Glossary as follows:
"Flat-top
1. A non-progressive video poker game.
2. Another term for a slant-top or bartop video poker machine."

Just a quick note: Does it really matter what Angela called the
machine? It's the only DW progressive at the Palms. Shouldn't we
just be happy such a nice lady hit the Royal? I am.
