Sorry, the first one got sent somehow!
Spent 3 nights last week with friends at Red Rock. We did stop at South Point on the way as well as visiting Orleans and Gold Coast to collect birthday points as two of us have December birthdays. Other than those few hours, we were at RR exclusively.
Suffice it to say that the bankroll was about exhausted--not a lot of luck either at machines or 3 Card Poker table. On Friday afternoon, I was fortunate enough to get aces/kicker on Optimum Play machine. Then tried the Super Triple Play, got a couple quads and cashed out about $350. Well, that felt better!
Sat morning, our last hurrah since had to leave at noon for airport, nothing seemed to be working-again. Tried the Super Triple Play again, this time instead of a quad, drew a clubs royal on middle line holding 3. Wow, surprise!! Moved from there soon after to the progressive near the Cafe, the 9/5 DDB one determined to play the rest of the last $100 that I intended to play. With the third $20, I was dealt 4 to the royal with a pair of kings. Amazingly, after dropping the second king, the needed 10D popped right up! Eureka--2 royals within less than 2 hours. It was so much fun!! Wonder when I'll be lucky enought to have that happen again. Guess that's what will keep me coming back to Vegas.
