My wife and I and another couple are coming to Laughlin for the first time April 11th. I have read lots on the site, just wondered if anyone had any can't miss opportunities to share. We are staying at Harrah's for 3 days. Thanks in advance
First time in Laughlin
I don't know about can't miss opportunities but...
Auto museum at Riverside
There is the Blues and Brews festival at CB April 10-12
Outlet mall
Free train ride at TE
I'd take the river taxi from Harrah's to Riverside and walk back through
all the casinos along the river walk to the River Palms then hop on the
river taxi back to Harrah's.

I second the brew pub at the Belle and the car museum at the Riverside. If you're a beer geek you might want to check out Sassy Sally's at the Pioneer, though I've heard the selection is not what it used to be.
The water taxis are also nice and a good way to get from Harrah's to the other casinos. If you're Diamond or above, you can get half-off water taxi tickets at the TR booth; you can also use your comp points to pay for them.
Also the DL at HL is very laid back and the food's not much, but I like it; the people working there are very nice. The weather should be great while you're there, and the patio has a great view of the river.
Oatman is fun, but try to avoid the gravel road to get there!

Wow, I did get a number of responses with some really good ideas. I am a beer geek and its good to hear that Laughlin has some destinations worth investigating. We are looking forward to haveing a great time, we are flying into Vegas and renting a car for the drive to Laughlin and back, then back to Vegas for a couple more days...Thanks to all that wrote and shared thoughts, what a great and friendly group this is! I hope you all get a Royal on your next trip...I will be trying my best.
