First Royal, and many thanks to all

I hit my first Royal Flush on one of the .25 Joker Poker machines at
the Vegas Club on Saturday at noon. I was dealt the RF of hearts, no
draw needed. It paid 2K, so I was extremely happy. I wanted to thank
all the folks affiliated with this group and the website that help
keep the list of full play machines updated. It really does help to
weed thru all the short-pays when you have a specific area to look in
for the good machines. Keep up the great work!

Congrats on hitting your first royal. But I'm puzzled. The standard
payout for a natural royal on full pay .25 KBJW is 1K, 1.175K if
playing the rarer 101% version. How is it that you received 2K? Just
asking.

I was utterly confused as well, until I looked at one of the snapshots
I took of the machine, and saw the big sticker on the left side that
said "win 8000 coins on any royal flush without joker with 5 coins
bet". I think all the .25 Joker Poker machines at the Vegas Club had
that sticker. Not sure about the ones at Binions or El Co though.
