I'm going to Reno for the first time this August and will be staying at
the Silver Legacy.
I jsut started playing VP recently and have only made a couple trips to
Las Vegas. I play .25 FPDW and JoB.
Any advice on obtaining comps or working with a specific host? Besides
taking ashot at winning some money, I'd liek to learn how to get full
value for my play.
It never hurts to talk to a host. However, playing quarter VP
probably won't get you anywhere. You will get .4% comps and you use
your card to access your comps. Try to play at least 4K per day.
Above that level triggers good marketing offers--2 free nights and
frequently $125 cash.
