firing Rio hosts?

I doubt all the hosts at the Rio were fired. Call and ask for one! I know
my hosts at Harrahs New Orleans, Caesars Vegas, and Lake Tahoe are all there,
so why would the Rio have been hit. Maybe a bunch were let go, but all?
Come on - doesn't make sense.

Miss Craps,

I am just going by what my friend told me...

If you find out differently, please post it.

I'm inclined to agree.

Based upon persistent reports of mass dismissals at Harrah's
properties, I'm going to guess that Harrah's has substantially raised
the play threshold for a player to be hosted and has cut back on
staffing drastically -- perhaps letting all hosts go below the
Director level. Merely idle speculation.

As has been posted here before, all Harrah's LV propterties were
rereorganizing its hosts. Exec hosts were relocated and reg hosts were
offered jobs as part of a telemarketing type team all concentrated at
CeCeasers. From what our exec hosts told us about it, nobody was
fired. However some may have elected not to take the transfers and quit
on their own.

I'm just going on what this person told me. They were all called into a meeting, handed their final checks, escorted to their desks by security personnel to remove personal items and walked off the property... Doesn't sound like quitting to me...
