Fireworks vantage points for LV New Year's Eve

1. Sunrise Mountain, which is BLM land with several public parking
areas that look down upon the city. Take Lake Mead Blvd. east from I-
15 in North Las Vegas several miles until it winds up onto the
flanks of the mountain. Get there early as this is always a
popular "city lights" viewing spot.

Ditto on this spot! Last year I went there with my local Vegas friends, had
lots of fun.

Have to say that the best view I ever had of fireworks was for the "Real
Millenium-2001 World Record breaking show( length and size of show), We were
comped at the LVHilton and had a room right below the top floor suites and you
could see the whole strip and the whole fireworks show unobstructed. That was
lots of fun after we attended the KC & Sunshine band party that they hosted
for us. What a view & what a show!
