The latest is that this is the first time that the JOliet FD has had to call in units from other districts to help put out a blaze. IIRC Channahon, Shorewood and Plainfield FD's were dispatched. The roof over the area where the fire broke out has completely collapsed, flames are spreadig to other portions of the main building.
As of yet, the casino area has not been hit, but the FD isn't sure it can keep the blaze from spreading there.
I also heard that the FD ran out of water in the hydrants on site.
