I went 220,000 hands without a royal. It happens and once one of the math guts posted probabilities of this happening and it was far from the bottom of the list.
P. S. I still made about my average gain over the 2 year period it bridged. I soon had a group of royals that just about evened it out.
The EV is based on the l;aw of large numbers and does work. To think the Nevada casinos would take a chance like illegally fixing machines is silly. Even if commission was in on it, the Feds would come looking which they have a long history of doing in Vegas for corruption.
Have they fixed the machines when you get 3 or 4 Royals bunched together mean they fixed the machines so you would win. If you get 4 deuces 4 times in a couple of hours is the machine fixed. If either of these things happen you say the machine or machines are hot. Well, they can get VERY VERY COLD too.
