Fiesta Rancho downgrade

I won't embarrass myself by stating how long I had been playing the NSU Triple Play progressive before noticing that it had been downgraded to 15-9 from 16-10

There has been a lot of "downgrading" there recently. Even many of the
"under 100%" games like 8/5 A-C-E-S BP have been downgraded to 7/5. I can't
understand that.

Scot

Could it be G-R-E-E-D ?

Seems as if downgrading of VP tables is taking place at a number of Harrah's sites.

Scot,

Hey, if you want luxury you gotta pay. Still some decent play at some
of the Station "grind joints" like GVR or Red Rock.

Rich, don't be embarrassed. I am sure if we are honest, a lot of us have
done the exact same thing. I admit to having been there, done that, and not
only bought the t-shirt, but custom printed one. Hell, forget the paytable.
There are days when I begin play in my sleep grog coma stupor that it takes
me half an hour to know what game I am actually playing, and another few
minutes to determine if the machine is also playing that same game. Wonder
how many AP's will be banging away for points, drawing tickets, and Chairman
status now that the 3-royal average has to be $1,560+, or $4,680+ to be at
break even? Anyone know if F Henderson followed suit on their 3P NSU? And
here I thought when I saw you the other day whacking away at the DB at
Orleans, you were "IN THE ZONE", only now to discover you were ZONED OUT
:>). Kinda the same, but different.

Not to worry, I think everyone's done it from time to time.

This used to be one of the best and safest plays in town-a low-risk
$40-$50/hr, sometimes more. Since these machines were played heavily,
it's no surprise that the Fiesta looked at their numbers and said
enough. They took a lot of neg EV bets for a long period of
time-nothing that good lasts forever.

Ever since they slowed down the meters about a year ago this has not been a
heavily played bank.
