Fiesta + MSS + Suncoast

Fiestas - I just noticed that my October rewards
calendar is available online for the first time. It's
presented very similarly to the way the Stations
rewards calendars are.

MSS - I don't think it has been mentioned that the new
9/6 JoB at the bar not only is in 25c but also 50c and
$1. And they are in all sixteen of the bartops.

Suncoast - It was mentioned here that the card readers
are being changed. I was also told that everyone will
need to get new player cards.

...Fiestas and Stations will be combining cards starting in December. A good
place to get the latest information about combining the cards and all of the
benefits will be at the All Star Gaming Expo at Fiesta Rancho on December
2-3. Jeffrey Compton will be giving a presentation on "How to get the most
from your Boarding Pass," including the incorporated new card.

...Since this is a combined card, I assume this means you could then get the
new card at any Coast Casino and that all will be affected by the change,
not just Suncoast?

Scot

Yes, you need to get a new "blue card".

I was there yesterday and about one-third of the machines have been
converted. You can use the blue card on either the converted or
unconverted machines. You can use the old red card on only the
unconverted machines.

An additional note...the card reader on the new machines did not show
earned points as you were playing. This maybe be just temporary...I
certainly hope so.

Evidence of further "Stationization" of Fiesta.

Other Fiesta tidbits...heard from a reliable source that gas purchases
using Fiesta points will no longer be available after the consolidation.

Also, the card readers on the Optimum Play machines against the wall by
the sports book have been adjusted to record the correct number of
earned points.

Beware the fury of the 16 cent scratch card!

While waiting at the desk today while the boothling went to get the 'free gift" won on my scratch card, a person was trying to get by and grew quite rude. I guess they were trying to get by to get to a different boothling. I jsut said , "he told me to stand here". This took at most 10 seconds.

After I got my gift and walked away from the desk, I stepped back toward the desk to ask the boothling a question and the person who was rude went into a fighting stance and nearly slugged me. He obviously was from the city and my "quick" movement forced him into fighting mode I guess. It was funny, yet scary at the same time.

My comment to the chief boothling that they need to do something about this promotion since it is getting people so angry fell on deaf ears.

This incident today added one more reason why I am seriously considering stopping all play there.

By the way, "Free Gift" is worth more than the 100 points. It is left over stuff from free gift distribution. (Rachet sets, chess sets and power scissors)

Yeah, darn it. Took 'em awhile to figure it out though.
