Fiesta Mini Trip Report

I thought I'd post this mini trip report on my recent/first visit to
the Fiesta Henderson this past weekend.

First, I did NOT see Michael Jackson. Now, with that out of the way.
It was a very pleasant stay, Saturday and Sunday night. I put about
4K coin in Saturday, 7k coin in on Sunday. Room was comped, no
problem through the host Jerry Rains.

Room was tastefully subdued, but plenty roomy for us. Very
comfortable bed. [we prefer a softer mattress]

Parking was handy from the back lot to both the casino and the hotel.
Even though it was a Saturday night, placed was packed for that
alone, plus there had been a 5x coupon mailed for that day, plus the
weekend before Comdex started on the Monday, we did not have any
problem finding machines to play.

We play FPDW and 10/7 DB. I lost for a day and a half. I don't wish
to say how much. I ran worse than ever. However, starting on Sunday
at about 5pm, we couldn't stop winning till 2am and managed to leave
with a small $100 loss for the whole trip, including cash
expenditures.

Buffet is great, IMHO. Selection one of the best I've seen, nearly
paralleling Green Valley at it's best. Coffee shop was good as well.
All service personel couldn't do enough to meet our every need.

Discretionary comps for both the buffet and coffee shop were not a
problem. Any host or pit critter were more than apt at offering us a
comp, no questions asked based on our play.

All and all, lots of machines, full pay, good/polite service
personel, and great casino host. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there
again and look forward to it. Most of the machines are TITO. We got
spoiled when we played a coin-in machines, hit four deuces and it
required a hand-pay for $250 only. BTW, that was the third four
deuces in three hours or less during our "good" run.

Also, as a side note, it's handy to the Galleria Mall in case one
needs a break from gambling with an assortment of fast food, and
regular, restaurants, as well as Costco and lots of shopping, just
one offramp up the freeway [515].

The only negative is the torn up construction on Highway 146, Lake
Mead Blvd, and the traffic backups at some of the intersections
because of lights not working.

That's it..
