In my opinion, it is a bad idea to try to hedge matchplays. The pit
personnel absolutely hate it when you do that; they don't understand
that the EV is exactly the same. They don't think in those terms at
all, nor do we as players want them to. You have nearly a 50% edge for
each one, so to piss them off when using them is just bad business.
True, some don't mind, but enough of them do mind that it's best to use
them one at a time. That keeps the peace, and makes them more likely
to keep offering them.
Went to the Fiesta Henderson today and my wife and I (2 separate club
accounts and 2 separate LV Advisor coupon books) tried to use our 2
$25 dollar matchplay coupons at the roulette table, one on black and
one on red, and the pit boss refused the bet. She said only one
coupon
